The client needed a measured building survey and an existing drawings package for a semi-detached, L-shape Victorian property in Thames Ditton. The request included plans, elevations, and one section, with added requirements to record drainage (manholes and SVPs) and indicate side boundaries.
The project also had scheduling constraints, with the survey arranged as an afternoon visit and the client requesting proactive arrival updates on the day. Following initial delivery, the client reported issues within the drawing pack—specifically an incorrect roof plan and a missing bay window on a side elevation—creating a clear need for careful revision control and a corrected re-issue.
We coordinated access and timings with the client team, sharing the surveyor’s details and confirming an afternoon arrival window. The measured survey was carried out on site to capture the building geometry and key features needed for an as-built drawing package, including drainage points and boundary references.
After the draft drawings were issued for review, we gathered the client’s feedback and produced an updated set of files. To make the latest documents easy to identify, the revised set was clearly labelled “Rev001” and shared as the most up-to-date package. This ensured the client could quickly locate the corrected drawings and continue with their next steps using the latest information.
